1) Make sure to install (if not yet) Microsoft
.NET Framework 2.0 if you're running a Windows version earlier than Vista;
2) Download and install Ultimate Video Converter;
3) If you have a firewall, please make sure Ultimate Video Converter is allowed to make Internet connections. It needs the Internet connection for registration and updates;
4) Start and register Ultimate Video Converter with the registration number that is sent to you after purchase. You will then get an automatic activation e-mail message, where you have to click on the activation link;
5) You can now start using Ultimate Video Converter.
Usage
1) Open Ultimate Video Converter;
2) Browse for files to convert;
3) or drag them directly from your File Explorer.
4) Pick a format;
5) Select a folder where you will store your converted files;
6) Click Start;
7) Once the file is converted, you can use the "Open" link to view it in your default video player;
8) Use "Auto-start" button to enable the automatic conversion one you add one or more files to the queue;
9) Right-click the system tray Ultimate Video Converter icon to exit the program. If you click on the "Close" button, the program will stay in background ;
10) Left-click on the system tray Ultimate Video Converter icon to activate it, if it's working in background.
11) Use the Stop button to interrupt the conversion process;
12) Use the Clear button to clear the conversion list (disabled while conversion in progress);
13) Use the Remove button to remove the selected items from the conversion list (the items in progress will not be removed);
14) Once the conversion is over, the items remain in the list with 100% progress (and therefore can't be converted again to another format). However if you want to convert the items in the list to another format without reformating the list, just select one or several movies and click Reset, to reset the progress to 0%;
Notes
* Ultimate Video Converter lets you add multiple files to the conversion queue.
* Your preferences are saved on program exit: if you select a video format, storage location etc, it will be the same next time you use he program.
